How to wear a pleated skirt without looking fat

Pleated skirts are a great way to show off your curves, but they can also make you look like you’ve gained weight. Here’s how to wear a pleated skirt without looking fat:

1. Wear an A-line skirt instead of a straight-cut skirt. A-line skirts are more forgiving for most body shapes because they have extra fabric in the back that helps disguise any unwanted bulges.

2. Keep the length at or below the knee. Pleated skirts should hit at the knee or below so that they don’t create an unflattering silhouette when you walk or sit down.

3. Choose a color that flatters your skin tone and hair color—and go lighter on the accessories! If you’re going for bold colors like red or purple, keep your accessories simple so that they don’t compete with the boldness of your outfit.

Pleated skirts are great for hiding a multitude of sins, especially in the back. If you have a larger rear end, this is a good way to hide it.

Keep your pleats in the front and make sure they’re not too tight or too big. This will keep them from making your hips look even wider than they already are.

If you’re worried about the fit of your skirt, try wearing tights or leggings underneath it. That way, if things aren’t exactly right with your waistline or legs, no one will notice because all eyes will be on those tights!

Wear heels to make yourself appear taller and thinner! This will help balance out any proportions that might be thrown off by wearing a pleated skirt instead of something more flat like jeans or pants
